Tricky Wastewater System Installation – Tamborine Mountain Project

Our septic specialists recently completed one of the most challenging wastewater system installations our team has ever undertaken. Rowan and Mal were called out to a new build in Tamborine Mountain. This build presented a unique logistical hurdle: the house had been fully built before the wastewater system was installed.

With the structure already in place, we were left with a narrow 1.8 metre corridor down the side of the house. This space had to accommodate a 3- tonne excavator, the wastewater tank and multiple loads of gravel for the back of the property.

Our Strategy

Installing this wastewater treatment system is such a confined space that requires careful planning and coordination. Our team managed to get a smaller 3-tonne excavator down the side of the house and used a 50-tonne crane to lift and install the wastewater tank over the house. Even though this job was tricky, we ended up safely ensuring the new wastewater system was installed at a pre-excavated site. This project went exactly to plan with no damage.

Whether you are building on a steep slope or have limited access on a suburban block, our team specialises in difficult installations across the Mount Tamborine and the Gold Coast.
